Shaft Modeling in UGS_NX

1. Launch UG.

2. Click icon, select Model and input name “Shaft”.

3. Click icon, then click icon to create a sketch as shown in Figure1, then click icon.

4. Click icon, select sketch (1) to revolve, then select XC as the vector, then select the yellow point as the point and edit as shown in Figure 2. Then click icon

5. Click icon, then select sketch (1), and click OK icon.

6. Click icon, then select the point method of to cerate two curves as shown in Figure 3.

7. Click icon, and edit as shown in Figure 4, then select the yellow face, then click the yellow curve, and click OK icon.

8. Click icon, and edit as shown in Figure 5, then select the yellow face, then click the yellow curve, and click OK icon.
