Desk Lamp in SolidWorks

Step1: Select the workbench
1.Launch solidworks2009
2.Select Start>new >a 3d representation.of a singe desinge compoent
3.Save file .Rename PartBody “Desk lamp”
Step2:Draw the lampstand
1.Set the workbenth “front plant",click theicon,creat a new sketch1 with the cirlceicon,smart dimension icon.Look at Figure2.Don’t forget to quit the sketch workbench.
2.Extrude the surface.The path: insert>surface>Extrude(or click the surface Extrude icon in the surface toolbar).All is shown in the Figure3
3.Set the direction of view and surface-fill.Select the view style and click the Isometric icon.Next Fill the surface.The path: insert>Surface>Fill(or click the surface Extrude icon in the surface toolbar).
4.Surface-Fill2.Repeat the fourth.Look at the Figure7 and Figure8
