Gear Shaft in UG_NX

 

1. Launch UG.

2. Click icon, select Model and input name “Gear Shaft”.

3. Click the, then select, then select constant and edit as shown in Figure 1.

Then select length, and edit the other data as shown in Figure 2

4. Click icon, then select icon, then click icon twice, then select icon, then click icon twice, then select icon, then click icon twice. Click icon and edit as shown in Figure 3, then click icon twice to create the curve as shown in Figure 4.

5. Click icon, then select as shown in Figure 5, and edit as shown in Figure 6 and click icon to indicate the center of the circle. Then edit as shown in Figure 7 to indicate the point on arc and then click icon to create the yellow circle as shown in Figure 8.

Then edit as shown in Figure 6 and click icon to indicate the center of the circle. Then edit as shown in Figure 9 to indicate the point on arc and then click icon to create the yellow circle as shown in Figure 10.
