Step1: Select the workbench

1.Launch solidworks2009

2.Select Start>new >a 3d representation.of a singe desinge compoent

3.Save file .Rename PartBody “Iron Candle Holder

”

Step2:Draw the main body

1.Set the workbenth “top plane",click theicon,creat a new sketch1 with the straight slot icon,smart dimension icon.Look at Figure2.Don’t forget to quit the sketch workbench.

2. Set the workbenth “right plane",click theicon,creat sketch2.Draw the sketch with centerline icon ,line icon , smart dimension icon and sketch fillet icon. As shown in the Figure3. Don’t forget to quit the sketch workbench.
