Design Hinge with UG_NX

1. Launch UG.

2. Click icon, select Model and input name “Hinge”.

3. Click icon, then click icon to create a sketch as shown in Figure1, then click icon.

4. Click icon, select the yellow circle as the curve to extrude, and edit as shown in Figure 2, then select the ZC as the vector then click icon.

5. Click icon, select the yellow edge as the bend edge, and edit as shown in Figure 3, then click icon.

6. Click icon, select the yellow edge as the bend edge, and edit as shown in Figure 4, then click icon.

7. Click icon, then select in the Type, then select the yellow face as the placement face of hole as shown in Figure 5, then press the mouse middle key in the blank areas, then select the yellow face as the through face of hole as shown in Figure 6, then press the mouse middle key in the blank areas.

Then select Edge 1 and input 5.7 and then press the mouse middle key in the blank areas, then select Edge 2 and input 5.7 as shown in Figure 7 and then click icon.

8. Click icon, hen click icon and then click icon.

9. Click icon, select the red face as shown in Figure 8 and then click icon to create a sketch as shown in Figure 9, then click icon.

10 Click icon, select the red face as the placement face of cutout as shown in Figure 10, and then click icon, then select the yellow curves as shown in Figure 11, then click icon and then click icon.
