Length
Adjust the length of the line. The default value is the length of the
selected line. Backward, Centered, and Forward are used only if
the length of the line is different than the default.
Distance
The distance of the line being created from the selected line.
Centered
Position the center of the line near the center of the selected line.
Forward
Position the start point of the line near the start point of the
selected line.
Backward
Position the endpoint of the line near the endpoint of the selected
line.
Append If Adjacent
If the start point or endpoint of the line being created is coincident
with the active line, merge the lines to create a single line. The
lines are merged when you select the OK icon or another menu
item.
