2.1. Opening a Previously Saved Problem
Create a new problem called Carburize and allow the system to take you
into the pre-processor. Import the last step from database: Heating.DB.
2.2. Setting Simulation Controls
1. Go into Simulation Controls dialog.
2. Change the Operation Name to Carburization.
3. Turn on Diffusion module and turn off the Deformation module.
4. Go to category Step. Set Constant Time Increment to 10 s.
5. Click on the Advanced 1 tab and set the Step Definition to User.
6. Go to category Stop and set Process Duration to 6000 seconds. Note
that since the previous simulation has been run to T=3600 s,
effectively this operation is only 2400 seconds long.
7. Under Process Conditions/Diffusion, set the value of the reaction
rate coefficient to 0.0001 mm/s and the environmental atom content
should be set to 1.69.
