Nesting Training Exercises (Step by Step)

Step 1. Open a New Nest Job.
Using the File Pull-Down Menu , Select New then select Job from Sub-menu, this
will then open the Untitled Nesting Screen Dialogue.
Step 2. Parts
Select the Parts tab. In the Part library tab we will add parts to you library by
clicking the Add Part  icon. Depending on your MetaCAM configuration, the part
is picked using a standard File Open dialog, or using the MetaCAM catalog, or using
a Thumbnails list. If you are using the part catalog, you can select the part, and click
on the Open Part button in the catalog window's toolbar to insert the part in the
layout. You can also double-click the part name in the catalog's part list to insert it
into the layout.
