With a new Lantek Expert installation, Expert will create a new EMPTY database, so the first time the software is run, it will show a panel with the database name and directory where all the information will be saved.
By default, Lsystem is the name offered by Expert for the database and the path offered to the user is also OK, so usually, the user will only need to click on OK and Expert will create automatically the database. This process may take a few minutes to complete itself. The user should never stop this process, otherwise the database created can be corrupted.
When Expert finish this process the Expert main window will be showed on the screen, at this point the user can start working with Lantek Expert.
