1 Introduction to this Manual
AVEVA Global provides tools for administering PDMS databases across multiple geographic
locations. It ensures the integrity of data by automatically checking the project databases
and issuing incremental updates across all project sites.
This user guide describes the PDMS concepts that you need to know about before you start
to work with a Global project. It describes how to use Global to set up and administer a
