Dis-closure in SolidWorks

 

Figure1(Final Model)

Step1: Select the workbench

1.Launch solidworks2009

2.Select Start>new >a 3d representation.of a singe desinge compoent

3.Save file .Rename PartBody “Dis-closure

Step2:Draw the bottom of dis-closure

1.Set the workbenth “top plane",click theicon,creat a new sketch1 (or click the icon) with line icon ,centerline iron , and smart dimension icon.Look at Figure2.Don’t forget to quit the sketch workbench.

2.Revovle. The path: insert>Boss/Base >Revovle (or click the Revovle icon in the feature toolbar). All is shown in Figure3 and Figure4

3 .Set the workbenth “right plane",click theicon,creat a new sketch2 (or click the icon) with line icon , three point arc ,centerline iron , and smart dimension icon.Look at Figure5.Don’t forget to quit the sketch workbench.

4. Extrude.Extrude the sketch2. The path: insert>Boss/Base >Extrude (or click the boss/base -Extrudeicon in the feature toolbar). Be care the two direction. Select’Up to Surface’in the termination conditions as shown in Figure6and Figure7

5. Set the workbenth “top plane",click theicon,creat a new sketch3 (or click the icon) with line icon , three point arc ,centerline iron , and smart dimension icon.Look at Figure8.Don’t forget to quit the sketch workbench.

6. Extrude.Extrude the sketch2. The path: insert>Boss/Base >Extrude (or click the boss/base -Extrudeicon in the feature toolbar). Be care that the two direction. Select ’Up to Surface’in the two termination conditions as shown in Figure9 and Figure10.Select the the’face<1>’ as shown in Figure11.

7. Fillet .Fillet the edge. The path: insert>Faeture >Fillet (or click the Fillet icon in the feature toolbar). All is shown in Figure12 and Figure13

8. Repeat the sixth.Fillet .Fillet the edge. The path: insert>Faeture >Fillet (or click the Fillet icon in the feature toolbar). All is shown in Figure12 and Figure13

9. Creat a new reference plane1 as shown in the Figure16.Creat a new sketch4 in the plane (click the icon). Click theicon and draw the sketch with the spline line icon and concenterline icon as shown in Figure17. Don’t forget to quit the sketch workbench.
