Arm in PROE

 

Figure1

Step1. Create and name the model of part as INSTANCE_ARM.PRT.

Step2. Create the solid extrusion feature shown as Figure 2, the relevant operations are shown as follows.

1 Click “insert”>“”.

2 Select the type of extrusion feature in the appeared control panel: click icon.

3 Define the placement property of sketch section.

(1) Click > icon in the control panel

(2) Set sketch plane: select datum plane RIGHT as sketch plane.

(3) Set view orientation of sketch: take default orientation of the yellow arrow in the model as view orientation.

(4) Specify referential sketch plane: select datum plane TOP as reference.

(5) Specify the orientation of referential sketch plane: select Top as the orientation of referential sketch plane.

(6) Complete the placement property of sketch section: click button in the window of defining the placement property of sketch section.

4 Create feature section: draw the section as Figure 3 shown. Click button then quit sketch.

5 Select the type of depth and its depth: set as the type of the depth, and then enter 30mm in the “Depth” textbox.

6 Preview feature: click icon in the control panel to browse the created feature.

7 Finish feature: click icon to finish the extrusion

Step3. Create full round feature as figure4 shown.

1 Click “insert”>“”.

2 Select the two sidelines as figure5 shown.

3 Click “”, and the system pop-up the interface shown as Figure 6, then click “”.

4 Preview feature: click icon in the control panel to browse the created feature.

5 Finish feature: click icon to finish this feature.
