Deleting elements and content
T o delete an element and its content :
1. Click the element icon to the left of a para element.
2. Press the D ELETE key . The element and its contents are deleted.
3. T o undo the deletion, click the Undo toolbar button.
T o delete text :
1. Select a portion of the content with a para element.
2. Press the D ELETE key . The contents are deleted.
3. To undo the deletion, click the Undo toolbar button.
Generated text
Generated text is defined and automatically inserted in your document according to
your stylesheet. Examples of generated text include a table of contents, an index,
and list numbers. Generated text is displayed in a contrasting font color (blue by
default) and cannot be edited directly in Arbortext Editor .
T o change the display of generated text :
1. Choose T ools erences and select the W indow category . If Full Menus
is not checked, click on the check box. Click OK.
