Entry of Profile TSU

.Profile never allows bonus tolerance, but allow possibility of datum shift.

.Profile is entered into the Tolerance Stack-up report form on two lines: profile and datum

shift. shift.

.Geometric dimensions and tolerances are specified as unequal bilateral or unilateral, they must be converted to equal bilateral format before they can be entered into the Tolerance Stack-up report form.

Profile TSU of Parts

Calculate the Max and Min Distance of A-B,C-D

Composite Profile TSU of Parts

The profile tolerance specified in the upper segment of the feature control frame represents the total allowable variation in location of the features to a datum reference

frame.

Typically the tolerance defined in the upper segment is used in TSU

The profile tolerance defined in the lower segment of the feature control frame is not basically located to a datum reference frame—they may only be basically oriented to a datum reference frame and is basically located to each other in the case of a pattern.

The profile tolerance specified in the lower segment may be used in TSU if the TSU is between features in a pattern.
