Step1: Create a new part
1. Launch CATIA.
2. Select the icon 
to create a new part file as show in figure 1 and then click ok.

3. In the dialog box, import the file name EC BASE and select the Enable hybrid design and Create a geometrical set as show in figure 2.
4. Click ok to enter the part design mode. Right click the PartBody and select Define In Work Object as show in figure 3.
