Real Geometry Visualization (WYSIWYG mode) - It is a new option to check models' geometry. You can now visually check the topological links between the faces of a shells and edges of a wire. Its an effective tool to analyze the connections particularly when working with heterogeneous data. Circle Sweep With Limit Curve and Tangency Surface - It is a new option to generate a swept surface that is tangent to a given surface along the given curve lying on the surface.

The list of enhanced functionalities in CATIA Generative Shape Design V5R17 are listed below:''
WYSIWYG mode is a new tool added in V5R17. The aim of this tool is to provide a visual analysis capability to the users. You can now visualize the topological links between the faces of a shell and the edges of a wire by switching to WYSIWYG Mode ( What You See Is What You Get mode).

In standard visualization mode. Though topological objects may have several geometrical representations, only one visual representation will be shown on the screen. For example two adjacent vertices will appear as one point, two adjacent edges will be drawn as one single curve on the screen. By switching to the WYSIWYG Mode, you can distinctly visualize topology of each geometry on the screen.
