1. To begin, enter the Style tool by selecting Feature>Create>Style or clickicon. Next, select the icon to access the curve dialog box, as seen in Figure 2.
Figure 2: curve type
2. Create a planar curve on the TOP datum plane by using the left-mouse button to create curve points. Edit the curve by dragging its points until it is similar to the one shown in Figure 3.
3. Create an new internal datum plane by clickicon. Select a point and a datum plane as the references, shown as the figure 5, 6, 7.
Next, create the curve that will form the rear section of the surface. Create the curve as a plane curve with three points by selecting the icon, the active plane should be the datum 1 created in last step. The two endpoints should be linked to the two planar curves created previously. This type of "linked" point is called a soft point or fixed point. It is created by snapping it to the entity to which it will be linked. Snap can be activated by holding down the shift key or by selecting Style>Snap. When Snap is activated, the point that you created will automatically snap to the entity to which the point will be snapped. The left mouse button is used to create the soft point or fixed point. A soft point or fixed point linked to a curve, as is the case here, is represented by a cross. While in curve edit mode, dragging the soft point will slide it along the curve to which it is linked. The fixed points in this case can not be moved and the middle point should be modified until the resulting curve is similar to that shown in Figure 7.
