This project is similar to the above, with the absence of Straddle surfaces.However,the proper procedure of cleaning the model before performing the Solid Sep function will be covered.Mastercam provides several tools to verify the cleanliness of the surface model imported into the system.Make sure you follow this procedure before using the Solid Sep function.

Load the CASE_MM.MC9 file.

We will first perform the model analysis.This model has already been checked
before,but will do it anyways,to practice the steps.

Click on Analyze,Surfaces,Check Model,All,Surfaces,Done.The system
prompts you for a default tolerance for verifying self-intersection.Accept the default
value of 0.005 and hit Enter.
