The SolidWorks Link Module allows you to integrate a SolidWorks model into LightTools for optical design,analysis,and optimization.The SolidWorks Link Module does this by establishing a connection between SolidWorks and LightTools.
This connection allows the SolidWorks geometry, with its associated features and parameters,to display in LightTools, and the LightTools-initiated geometry changes to display in SolidWorks. The following figure illustrates the link between SolidWorks and LightTools.
