Designing hulls with transoms and skegs can sometimes be a little
tricky. Below are a few examples of what can be done.
15.1. Yacht hull with skeg using 6 bonded surfaces
Here, a skeg that runs part of the length of the hull has been achieved
with six bonded surfaces. The main hull and after hull have been
given slope continuity at their bonded edge by using the Align to
Vector command for the edge control points. Near the bow, the skeg
is smoothed into the main hull in a similar way. Three small surfaces
are used to close off the bottom of the stern area, the bottom of the
skeg and the aft end of the skeg
