Welcome to PULSE Getting Started, the best single source for getting up and running
with your new PULSE system. This guide will take you through the basics of the
base PULSE software, also known as Noise and Vibration Analysis Type 7700. The
guide covers the principles of PULSE “projects” and the productivity tools you use
in PULSE software to organise and create your measurement setups, data, displays
and reports.
PULSE Getting Started is very much a hands-on guide. The first chapter will give you
a tour of the PULSE interface, using relevant tutorial PULSE projects included on the
PULSE CD (if you haven’t already installed them on your hard disk). In subsequent
chapters, you will learn how to construct a complete PULSE project from scratch,
calibrate your transducers, make measurements, create post-processing functions,
display your results, and then create reports.
