Pro.Engineer/CREO Tutorial --Wheel

Step1. Create and name the model of part as INSTANCE_ WHEEL_PART.PRT.

Step2. Create the solid rotation feature shown as Fig.2, the relevant operations are shown as follows.

1 Click “insert”>“”.

2 Feature property: click>, and select datum plane TOP as sketch plane ,datum plane RIGHT as reference for Right orientation. The drawing of the rotation section is shown as Fig.3.(Don’t forget to draw the center line.)The type of rotation is , and the angle of rotation is 360.

3 Preview features: click  icon in the control panel to browse the created feature. 

4 Finish feature: click  icon to finish the rotation feature.

Step3. Create the solid rotation feature shown as Fig.4, the relevant operations are shown as follows.

1 Click “insert”>“”.

2 Feature property: Click> , and select datum plane FRONT as sketch plane ,datum plane RIGHT as reference for Right orientation. Accept the default reference selection. The drawing of the rotation section is shown as Fig.5.(Don’t forget to draw the center line.)The type of rotation is , and the angle of rotation is 360.

3 Preview features: click  icon in the control panel to browse the created feature. 

4 Finish feature: click  icon to finish the rotation feature.
