NCL V9.7 (Preliminary) Patch Notes

This document summarizes the changes made in each update of NCL V9.7 since the initial release.

NCL
•Added support for up to 256 colors in the menu icons.
•Entities highlighted by the pick cursor that are covered by other entities are now displayed in full as they were in previous releases.
•The UL_NCL_EDIT variable can once again have spaces in the file specification.
•A relative directory specification (dir\file) can once again be specified on NCLcommands that accept filenames as input.
•Filenames with spaces are now processed correctly from the Recent Files menu.
•The TEXT_FONT (Command Line Font Style) setting is now saved to the ncl_interface.mod file upon accepting the Interface Modals form.
•The NCL Signoff form is once again displayed when exiting after the Unibase has been modified.
•Fixed various problems with the display and processing of Dynamic Macro forms.
•The Surface Attributes and Modify Surface Attributes forms now contain help text for all fields.
•Fixed a problem where traces of the previous view would be left on the screen when dynamically stepping changes in the view, for example with the SpaceMouse.
•The Create Bounding Box Solid form has added fields that allow the user to select a layer to use for the input geometry or the word ALL to include all defined geometry.
•Fixed problems creating annotation from the CADD interface.
•Modifying the angle of existing annotation now displays the modified annotation correctly.
•Loading a Unibase created using the UBFN/PUT statement now restores the default label name modals.
•Fixed a problem where multiple line output created from the interface would sometimes lose a couple of the last characters at the end of the line.
•The last line of the part program file is no longer erased when inserting lines into the middle of the part program.
•Fixed a problem where the DISPLY and ERASE commands would not process wildcard specifications correctly.
