To launch the rich client from the command line, perform the following steps:
1. Choose the Run option from the Windows Start menu.
The system displays the Run dialog window.
2. Click the Browse button and locate the portal_client.bat file in your local
directory structure.
3. Select the file and click the Open button.
The system displays the full path the .bat file in the Run dialog window.
4. To attach a new rich client to an existing session, append –attach to the file
path. To start the session as a new client, append –detach to the file path.
This allows multiple sessions to be established for different users on the same
machine. If no option is speci fied, the default of –detach is assumed.
5. Click OK.
The system displays the Teamcenter default application window.
Establishing Teamcenter Sessions From the Desktop
To log in to Teamcenter, perform the following steps:
