Teamcenter allows you to represent the functional breakdown of an
electromechanical product. For example, the functional breakdown of a car consists
of various functional subsystems, such as the music system and the braking system.
In turn, the functional subsystems may contain various individual functions of
the subsystems.
The Teamcenter data model provides the following types of objects to allow you
work with functional models:

C r e a t i n g a n E l e c t r i c a l L o g i c a l M o d e l
The Teamcenter data model allows you to represent logical electrical connectivity.
You typically create electrical logical models in an external ECAD wire harness
application and manage the completed models in Teamcenter. An electrical logical
model consists of logical connectors and logical devices, and the logical networks
and connectivity between them.
