However, you obtain access to the thin client over the Web using a Web browser
con figured to use the Sun Java runtime environment. Your workstation must have
an installation of the following software:
• Web browser:
Mozilla 1.4 or later, supported for IBM AIX, Hewlett-Packard HP-UX, Sun
Solaris, and Novell Linux operating systems
• Sun Java runtime environment (JRE) 1.4.1 to JRE 1.5
You must also ensure that the Web browser is con figured to use the Sun
JRE. If you do not have the JRE installed and con figured in the Web
browser, the thin client displays an error message:
Browser is not java enabled or MS JVM is being used. Only SUN JVM
is supported. Please install and enable SUN JVM for the browser.
To access Teamcenter Engineering using the thin client, obtain user login credentials
and the URL to an installation of the thin client from your Teamcenter administrator.
You can also install the following optional applications for use with the thin client:
• To use Teamcenter Visualization with the thin client, you must install a
supported version of Teamcenter Visualization on your workstation.
