1 FOREWORD
The scope of this manual is to be an easy-guide in which module tools are briefly included. We will
focus on the use of common tools.
First, it is necessary to clarify the concept of “Features”: they are characteristics which once
combined, can procure the part to create.
The main changes regarding working method are the following:
• Contour generation is performed with Sketcher in almost every case.
• Te concept of “Body” as “feature” grouping appears. Bodies can be combined within every
model by the use of boolean operations. Operations among Bodies would be equivalent to
V4 modelling so that it will be necessary to use this alternative if modelling can not be
performed with a process based on “features”.
An exercise reviewing module functions can be found at the end of this manual.
