Ensight -- Reset Tools and Viewports

INTRODUCTION

EnSight provides support for complex transformations of various entities ( e.g. the scene, tools, frames). It is often

necessary to clear all or part of the transformation associated with an entity; the Reset Tools and Viewports dialog

provides this capability.

BASIC OPERATION

To clear global transformations or tool positions:

1. Click Part in the Mode Selection area (to be sure

that EnSight is in Global Transform rather than

Frame transform).

2. Click the Reset... button in the

Transformation Control area to open the Reset

Tools and Viewports dialog.

3. Perform the desired operation as described

below.
