Extract Boundary Layer Variables
INTRODUCTION
EnSight can compute the following boundary layer parameters:
boundary layer thickness named: (bl_thickness)
displacement thickness (bl_displ_thickness)
momentum thickness (bl_momen_thickness)
shape parameter (bl_shape_parameter)
skin friction coefficient (bl_skin_friction)
You must have a 2D surface in a 3D field and specify the 2D surface as the parent part(s).
For a complete description of these variables, refer to the User Manual section below.
BASIC OPERATION
1. Select the 2D parent part(s).
2. Click the Boundary Layer variable icon.
