Installation
If you have not already installed the DSP board(s) and TAXI Interface Module and the
Windows NT-based PULSE software in your PC, refer to the Installation Manual
(BE 1469) and follow the installation instructions.
1.3 Hardware and Software
TAXI-based Multi-analyzer Systems Type 3560 come with one DSP Board ZD 0828 or
one, two, three or four DSP board(s) ZD 0812, and Acquisition Front-end Type 2825 or
Multichannel Data Acquisition Unit Type 2816. A Signal Analyzer Interface Module
Type 7521 and TAXI Interface Module ZD 0815 are also required.
One or more input/output modules are required to gather data for performing an
analysis. You can select the input/output modules you require.
The Throughput-to-disk Option UL 0112 (with hard disk) must be used with the Data
Recorder Type 7701 software for gap-free recording direct to a dedicated hard disk. A
summary of the hardware components available for Type 3560 is shown in Table 1.1.
Note: Due to the rapid evolution of PCs, order numbers and PCs available may be
subject to change.
