Outrigger in UG_NX

1. Launch UG.

2. Click icon, select Model and input name “Cylinder”.

3. Click icon, then click icon to create a sketch as shown in Figure1, then click icon.

4. Click icon, select the sketch created last step as the curve to extrude, and edit as shown in Figure 2, then click icon.

5. Click icon, then click icon, then click the yellow face as the planar placement face and select the red curve as the horizontal reference as shown in Figure 3, then edit as shown in Figure 4, then click icon, then click icon, select the ZC as the

target edge and select the red curve as the tool edge as shown in Figure 5, then edit as shown in Figure 6, and then click icon.

Then click icon, and select the YC as the target edge and select the red curve as the tool edge as shown in Figure 7, then edit as shown in Figure 8, and then click icon.

6. Click icon, then select the yellow face as the sketch plane as shown in Figure 9, then click icon to create a sketch as shown in Figure10, then click icon.
